About Dynamic Web Coding

Dynamic Web Coding, dyn-web.com, has been online since June 2000. All code and content at dyn-web is the work of Sharon Paine, a self-taught freelance JavaScript and PHP programmer currently residing in Oregon.

The code provided here does not rely on any of the large JavaScript libraries like jQuery, Prototype or YUI.[1] The code is lean and efficient and provides cross-browser support. It is written with up-to-date methodologies and adheres to best practices.

Numerous working demos are provided, both online and for download. Ample documentation is provided to guide you in implementing the code. Assistance is available either with purchase of a license or as a separate purchase.

Some Code Is Free, Some Not

Please observe that some code requires purchase of a license for all but personal use. Code presentation pages will indicate whether the code is free or provide a link to purchase information. Code provided for download is fully functional, but when uploaded to a server other than localhost, may display a licensing alert on page load.[2]

See Licensing for information about license types and what is included with the purchase of a license. See the Price List and Order Form for information on which code requires purchase of a license as well as license prices.

Code not included in the Price List, such as that provided in the Iframes Tutorial, is free of charge for all uses. Please read Terms of Use if you plan to use dyn-web code.

Support Policies

Please read dyn-web Support Policies before asking for support. Pay particular attention to the scope and duration of support provided with license purchase. Also please note that dyn-web does not provide free support or support in advance of payment.

No free support is provided with free code. Please ask for a quote if you need help with free code.
